Properties
Edge is engineered. Properties are how.
Every strategy is built from typed graph nodes — trend, mean-revert, breakout, filter, close. We discover, score, and retire properties continuously.
Each property is independently scored on out-of-sample performance, retired when its lifeness score drifts, and replaced by candidates from the property factory.
Strategy IDE
Properties mined, scored, promoted — without us.
The IDE is the cockpit of the property factory: a daemon that proposes new graph nodes, runs them through four validation gates, and queues survivors for promotion. The factory works continuously; the human looks at the top of the queue and clicks approve.
Browser shows every property ever discovered and its lifecycle history. Portfolio tab runs the optimizer's Improves view — candidate portfolios automatically compared against the live book.
Construction
Optimizer → gates → constructor → live. On repeat.
Thousands of property candidates explored per cycle. Four validation gates reject ~97%. Survivors are weighted by HRP / ERC / risk-parity. The constructor compares the candidate portfolio to the live one and queues a promotion if it improves Sharpe-per-MDD. Everything below the operator's eye level runs as a daemon, all the time.
No human at any stage above. The only human gate is reviewing Improves in the IDE before clicking Promote — and even that is optional; auto-promotion is supported.
Validation
Four gates. 97% rejected.
Holdout · Walk-forward · Deflated Sharpe · Monte Carlo Permutation
